ROCK HARD
by Massimiliano Petrolini

It happens not so often to receive demos, or auto-product like in this case, of bands that are totally dedicated to the tiny border line that divides the electronic music from the good old metal music, this one is too often considered as “stranger” and, sometimes, injurious for the musical scene. But in this case, we are on a very defined and known field, in fact the five from Sulmona (L’Aquila), even if are Marilyn Manson fans, they have to thank him less than Rammstein and The Kovenant. Above all from the German band, they catch heavy and often oppressive guitars and voice. Crizt, guitar, always seems to be at his ease while Shirley, voice, sometimes seems to be far from the main idea, never too cyber or growl, suitable for the quiet parts, almost theatrical as Lacrimosa teach, often out of place or unable to be at the best. The rhythm and above all the keyboards remember the above-mentioned Norwegian band, sometimes they are apocalyptic and rhythmic, but never far form the EBM sound. A band that surely makes itself appreciated, they never disappoint, maybe only in “Scary Dream”, but it is a good album. They have to work still in some arrangiaments and voice parts, but with these good premises and improving they can head up!

8/10
